How To Accept The Challenge Of Success

To succeed means that you may have to step out of line and march to the sound of your own drummer

Keith DeGreen.

It is becoming increasingly frustrating at this age that young people and adult at that matter that we accept to live an “average” life because we can not dare to face the challenges that we should encounter in order to succeed. What is interesting is how we become amazed by a certain individual who breaks through and decide not accept an average life rather live the life to the maximum.

Safety and Security have become ideals, in this world of future shock, almost completely submerging our desire for growth. The law of nature requires us to grow, the law of nature requires to be willing to take risks, we were not placed on this earth to be little more than walking vegetables.

I want to remind you the words of Dr Abraham Maslow who said:

One can choose to go back toward safety or forward toward growth. Growth must be chosen again and again; fear must be overcome again and again.

The question i am asking you today is: forward or backward? Which will it be for you?

What is your purpose to be on this planet? How did you make it on that special day/night  when you were conceived out millions competing to become a life?  What are your talents? Are you using your talents that you possess?

I want to share with you a story told by the Master Jesus about talents.

“Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour. 14 For it is like a man going on a journey, who summoned his slaves and entrusted his property to them. 15 To one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, each according to his ability. Then he went on his journey. 16 The one who had received five talents went off right away and put his money to work270 and gained five more. 17 In the same way, the one who had two gained two more. 18 But the one who had received one talent went out and dug a hole in the ground and hid his master’s money in it.

19 After a long time, the master of those slaves came and settled his accounts with them. 20 The one who had received the five talents came and brought five more, saying, ‘Sir, you entrusted me with five talents. See, I have gained five more.’ 21 His master answered, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful in a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’ 22 The one with the two talents also came and said, ‘Sir, you entrusted two talents to me. See, I have gained two more.’ 23 His master answered, ‘Well done, good and faithful slave! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master.’

24 Then the one who had received the one talent came and said, ‘Sir, I knew that you were a hard man, harvesting where you did not sow, and gathering where you did not scatter seed, 25 so I was afraid, and I went and hid your talent in the ground. See, you have what is yours.’ 26 But his master answered, ‘Evil and lazy slave! So you knew that I harvest where I didn’t sow and gather where I didn’t scatter? 27 Then you should have deposited my money with the bankers, and on my return I would have received my money back with interest!

28 Therefore take the talent from him and give it to the one who has ten. 29 For the one who has will be given more, and he will have more than enough. But the one who does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. 30 And throw that worthless slave into the outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth’” (Matthew 25:13-30)

You have the choice to interpret the story in your own way. Whatever you interpret should be useful and show you that you must use your talents that you were given, talents that make you a unique person.

Extremely Successful Entrepreneur should be aware of this question and be ready to answer it when being asked or a thought of it comes in the mind. The notion has been or proves purity. The notion may be correct, but there is nothing inherent in it that implies that poverty is the only road to salvation, however we personally define the term.

Accumulating money is not a problem, it is what we do with money that matters. It is how we get it that counts. To the extent that money is a measure of the services we perform for others, its accumulation is noble. To the extent that we press our money into the service of those we love, to provide them with as warm and as comfortable and as secure an existence as possible, its disbursement is inspired and divine.

This question paralyses many people when asked. It is in your gain as a successful entrepreneur to understand and be able to answer it without hesitation. We tend to blame everyone else about things that we have no control of. We blame our parents sometimes for how they brought us up, we blame our supervisors, boss but at the end of it there is no exceptions. YOU MUST CONTROL YOUR LIFE. You are totally responsible for the results that you obtain. It is only you, not your mother, not your father, not your boss.

We were not equipped with minds of our own so that we could abdicate control of our destiny to someone else. it makes no sense to believe that we are in any way designed to be kept under the care and control of another. We were not designed to be led. We were not designed to follow. We were designed to achieve, to strive, to build. We are equipped with the ability to lead our own lives. To do otherwise is quite simply a waste.

Security is knowing what tomorrow will bring. Boredom is knowing what the day after tomorrow will bring. Mediocrity can be regarded as comfortable. We all know those who have settled into a routing job at a routine salary, and who live in a routine home, in a routine neighborhood. They seem routinely comfortable and happy, at least from the outside. But o the inside they must contend daily with the rationalisations they have accepted, and the non-use of the abilities that they possess. The tension thus created is anything but comfortable.

We tend to be mediocre but that’s not how we were created. No one ever dream to be poor or live in poverty. We all dream to live a prosperous life, our imaginations are merciful, there is no way we can imagine those things that we cannot accomplish. Napoleon Hill once wrote “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can be achieved.” We would not be equipped with the ability to imagine future accomplishment and conditions if we were not correspondingly equipped with the ability to turn those imaginings into reality.

How can you not deserve success? Your success is not measured relative to what others say or do or accomplish. It is merely the extent to which you utilise the potential that you possess. It is only our tendency not to utilize all the potential we possess against which we must constantly fight. Success is not something that must be deserved or earned. It is more an inherent right- an inherent  responsibility. The only qualification for success is that you be you, that you utilize whatever combination of talent you possess to the fullest extent possible.

Do you deserve success? Of course You do. You deserve no less. Remember also that your talent may be enormous. your potential may be great. But talent and potential unnounced to the rest of the world is wasted. You should not wait the big break in your life, don’t rely upon luck. Make your own. Take action Now. There is a saying “It is always easier to act tomorrow” ABOLISH THIS if you want success. The world is filled with tomorrow people: those who will tell us in no uncertain terms that they’re going to get started tomorrow, and tomorrow, and tomorrow.

Fellow Extreme Successful Entrepreneurs you have to accept the challenge of success. It is always better to attempt to reach a goal and to reach an imperfect result than not to attempt at all. As has been said many times: I would rather try to succeed and fail than try to do nothing and succeed. Remember that the only limitations you will ever face will be those you place upon yourself.
